“A child without education is like a bird without wings !!” Pehchaan truly believes in this quote especially in today’s world. Educated children can brighten the future of the country. It gives them a freedom of thought, broadens their outlook and makes them aware of their duties and responsibilities. Education is not just limited to text-books. It is a holistic and continuous process of learning and knowing. It helps them to differentiate between what’s right and what’s wrong. We, at Pehchaan, truly believe in doing our bit for the betterment of our society.
A few hours per week spent with the kids teaching them the basics and grooming them gives us the peace of mind that many desire. As a community, it is our obligation to help a child develop their identity and be a contributing factor to society. We must refocus on the idea that a child is the centre of our community. As a community we must provide protection, security, knowledge, and most importantly good values. If we can help our kids to become positive and engaging members of society, this will only help in developing, not only a stronger and healthier community, but a safer one as well.
At Pehchaan, we don’t believe in spending the complete time in teaching. We teach, we scold, we laugh, we cry, we dance, we play, we paint, we pose, we learn and we have a lot of fun. Because we believe that children learn best when they are not pushed too hard. They are benefitted more when instruction and educational activities are a part of their days not the complete day in itself.
We believe education enables the person to deal with life as a whole !! So why should a few be left behind? Our education has given us wings to soar high in the sky and we will try to make sure that no kid is left at the altar just because it was monetarily not feasible for them to get those wings. It is our duty to equip them with those wings !!
