Volunteers from Venkateswara College, University of Delhi, stepped into the Pehchaan The Street School centre with arms full of supplies and hearts full of purpose. They transformed an ordinary day into an unforgettable celebration of learning, joy, and possibility. The volunteers didn’t just hand out notebooks and pens; they stayed, engaged, danced, and played with students.
A Movement of Hope!

The Venky College volunteers distributed approximately 70 stationery kits to young students, but they delivered something far more valuable: recognition, respect, and a reminder that these children belong.
Dance sessions broke out spontaneously. Laughter echoed through the centre. Interactive activities transformed the space into a hub of energy and excitement. For those few hours, the invisible walls that society built between the privileged and the marginalised simply dissolved, and were replaced by the universal language of joy and human connection.
