Skincare Meets Self-Care: Fix Derma's Awareness Session at Pehchaan The Street School

Many students are introduced to subjects like mathematics and science in school, but learning how to care for their own health is equally important. Fix Derma partnered with Pehchaan The Street School to host an interactive awareness session on skincare, personal hygiene, and healthy living. The goal was to make self-care an everyday habit by showing students that good health is built on small, consistent actions.

The workshop started with a discussion of students’ daily hygiene routines, then moved to practical demonstrations that taught the basics of skincare in a simple, interactive way. The objective was not only to educate them about skincare but also to help them understand how these small daily habits they learn today can contribute to long-term health and confidence.

The Fix Derma team explained why sunscreen is essential, how often to wash the face, the role of hydration in healthy skin, and why harsh soaps should be avoided.

Students discovered how consistent hygiene habits can prevent common skin issues and promote overall wellness. The experts emphasized that skincare is not just about appearance it’s also about taking care of one’s own health.

Many students asked questions, while others shared their daily routines at home. The facilitators addressed their queries with patience making complex topics easy to understand through practical demonstrations and relatable examples. This open exchange created a comfortable learning environment where students felt encouraged to engage and express their curiosity.

Rather than focusing only on products, the session encouraged students to think about how simple daily habits such as washing their face gently, staying hydrated, and protecting their skin outdoors can support long-term health. Students learned simple practices like cleansing their face properly, staying hydrated, maintaining cleanliness, and using sunscreen to protect their skin. By presenting these habits in an easy manner, the workshop showed students that good health begins with small, consistent actions.

Adding a practical element to the learning experience, Fix Derma distributed sunscreen and face wash to the students. They were excited to receive the products and many discussed how they planned to include them in their daily routine. These thoughtful takeaways allowed them to apply what they had learned outside the classroom and encouraged them to begin building healthy skincare routines at home. At Pehchaan The Street School, education extends beyond textbooks to include life skills that prepare students for a healthier and more confident future.

By introducing practical skincare and hygiene habits at an early age, the initiative encouraged students to make informed choices that will benefit them long after the workshop ended.

Support initiatives that promote both education and overall well-being.
