Berger Nippon Paint Automotive Coatings Private Limited is a leading automotive coatings manufacturer that specializes in producing high-performance paints and coatings, which give specialized finishes and are used on cars, bikes, and other vehicles by leading automobile manufacturers across India. It was established in India on June 21, 2007. It was known as BNB Coatings Private Limited. Later on in 2016, the company joined hands with Nippon Paint Automotive Coatings of Japan and named it Berger Nippon Paint Automotive Coatings Private Limited. Berger Nippon Paint Automotive Coatings Private Limited has a strong presence in decorative, industrial, and protective coatings.
During Diwali weekends, they collaborated with Pehchaan The Street School. Pehchaan The Street School provides education to underprivileged children. It has been actively working for 10 years. There was a campaign going on, “Pehchaan ki Diwali”.Pehchaan The Street School feels grateful to BNPA for this idea. As they also want their dreams to lighten up like fairy lights, with whom we decorate our home. They also want sweetness to fill their mouths like the sweetness we give each other with a sweet box every year. They also want to fill their life with many colours like the beautiful rangolis we make on our floors every year. They also want to have a ray of hope, like the flame of Diyas we light up every Diwali. Like us, they might be waiting and are excited for their gifts to come too.
So Students received bags. They were happy to receive new bags as Diwali gifts. Diwali celebration was going on, students had bright smiles on their faces, some had innocence on their faces, some got excited by seeing cameras, some had painted their hands with beautiful colours, some were busy with their drawings, some had very cute and eye-catching expressions. The walls were filled with the handprints of the students, interesting conversations were there, fun activities happened, and every student participated actively in the activities.
Until last year, the students were provided with the normal school bags, but thanks to Berger Nippon Paint Automotive Coatings Private Limited, 1600 Deskit bags were distributed to the students that Berger sponsored. The bags are detachable desks on which students can keep their books and study. These are very helpful for our students as all of our centres are in open locations and children have to sit on floor mats, so they need something for support.
Not only did they contribute the bags for the students, but they also visited every centre on Saturday & Sunday. Their MD visited the Noida center, their Executive Assistant & HR Kanika Mittal ma’am covered all the centres on weekends, and till the collaboration was being executed, she was available throughout the call. Pehchaan The Street School feels grateful to BNPA for the idea of visiting centres and providing Deskit bags to the students. Pehchaan The Street School would like to have long-term collaborations with BNPA. During the Diwali events, students of Pehchaan The Street School had done hand printing with pretty smiles on their faces.
The bags that the students received are not just bags that provide them support to keep their books and other belongings, but they are also a storage for their dreams too. There were waves of smiles that flowed over their faces. There was excitement to receive Deskit bags as gifts. There was gossip going on between students about what things they had to put in their bags and about how they would use them. They were extremely happy. Volunteers were distributing bags to them. Students were checking bags excitedly. They hugged the bag with a widening smile. One of the students was keeping her drawing file inside the bag. As BNPA sponsored the Deskit bags, the students had printed their hands over its display hoardings in the centres during the Diwali celebration.
